Protecting vulnerable people is at the heart of the Christian message. Safeguarding Sunday is all about creating an opportunity for our church and others to show communities that Christians take this responsibility seriously. The organisation which is promoting Safeguarding Sunday is called

Thirty-one: Eight, which refers to Proverbs 31:8: 'Speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable'.

We will think and pray about Safeguarding in the service.

Come and join us for a morning of fun and tidying up the churchyard before winter. 

Bring your own tools,if you have them. Refreshments provided 

All welcome.  

 Jobs will include sweeping leaves, edging and sweeping paths, tidying up the rose garden and alongside the path, picking up twigs and removing vegetation from around the church to stop damp in the walls. Anyone is welcome to join us. Tea and coffee will be provided.

We will be holding a social event with fun and games in the Church Community Hall. It will be a time to enjoy each other’s company after the isolation of lockdown.  We will order pizza from Dominoes and share this out.  Tickets must be bought by Sunday 24th October so we can order in advance. Please let Sally-Anne know if you have any dietary requirements. Everyone welcome, bring your children, parents, mother-in-law, neighbours, and friends.  Tickets £10 to cover the cost of pizza – available from Sally-Anne or Maria
