War Graves

We have several war graves and memorials here in the churchyard at St Botolph's Quarrington, including official Commonwealth War Graves Commission Graves, and we are lucky in that members of the congregation have done research about those who are buried here.

There is a history of our war dead in a red folder in church near the war memorial plaques.

This can be read in church, but please do not take it away.
Alternatively please contact
and we can search our database for you.

We have two war memorials in church: -

 Commonwealth War Graves Commission

We have a dedicated band of volunteers who work with the Commonwealth War Graves Commision to look after the graves and keep them clean and tidy. If you are interested in joining this group, or indeed coming along to look after the churchyard in general, please email

Should you wish to find out more about the Commonwealth War Graves Commision Graves, please visit the CWGC website where you can search their database.
